Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Commercial Advisor to join our team at DPD Group UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing international information, advice, and pricing to internal Sales & CRM teams, as well as lead sourcing and promoting new international products and services to new or existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide international information, advice, and pricing to internal Sales & CRM teams
  • Lead sourcing and promote new international products and services to new or existing customers
  • Support external customers through our International Experts Desk with products, services, and industry knowledge
  • Support with the implementation and setup of our international products and services
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, answering inquiries, researching, resolving problems, and providing solutions
  • Manage emails within a service level agreement of 24 hours
  • Provide sales executives and account managers with pricing on all international products and services upon request
  • Record and log all pricing enquiries, including the outcome of the pricing once supplied
  • Update sales personnel and external customers on country, service, product, competitor information, or presentation material
  • Lead sourcing and actively promote new and additional products and services to new and existing customers
  • Monitor, oversee, and support international customers who are at risk or are new customers
  • Support or be involved in international projects as required
  • Prepare and provide stats and data on international customers for reviews and presentations
  • Support with training, inductions, and presenting international information to internal staff or customers

Key Performance Indicators

  • Agreed short-term project KPIs
  • Number of successfully handled emails
  • Timekeeping
  • Number of pricing enquiries and the outcome
  • Upsell and new business revenue to support our international target
  • Call monitoring
  • Strategic customer reports issued daily before 4 pm or by the agreed date/time

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders. You should have good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure. Strong administrative skills and computer literacy are also essential. If you have experience in a telesales, customer services, or target-driven environment, this would be advantageous.
