Hydro Production Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydro Production Coordinator to join our team at SSE Enterprise. As a key member of our Operational Planning team, you will be responsible for forecasting long and short-term production from our hydro portfolio, ensuring safe and efficient operation of our assets.
Main Accountabilities- Plan and schedule outages to produce a manageable workload for Hydro Operations Centre.
- Liaise with third parties, including National Grid, to accurately understand and capture impact of outages on their assets on Hydro operations and production plans.
- Develop the annual production plan, including modelling of running schedules to optimize water storage, while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Chair meetings with internal stakeholders to review weekly production plans and coordinate outages.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in outage or production coordination and outage planning within the energy or utility sector. You should have a solid understanding of operational safety rules and their application to ensure safety from the system, as well as a knowledge of the energy market.
You will also need to have experience working in a regulated business, requiring understanding and implementation of procedures and reporting to ensure compliance with operational licenses.
