About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Client Server, a leading Investment Management firm. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in transitioning our core data platform to Azure, managing 3rd party data ingestion and integration, and improving data quality and introducing event streaming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Apache Spark and Python (PySpark and Pandas)
  • Develop and maintain data quality and integrity processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technical solutions
  • Assess current processes and recommend improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with modern data engineering best practices and industry trends
Requirements
  • Strong Data Engineering experience with SQL, Apache Spark, and Python
  • Minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top-tier university, Computer Science or similar technical/scientific discipline
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Azure and Data Bricks is highly desirable
