Xpertise Recruitment: Senior Data Architect Opportunity

Xpertise Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Senior Data Architect to bolster its high-performing data team. This strategic hire will be crucial in ensuring the data and AI team can expand quickly, building on the firm's solid foundation.

Key Details:

Salary: £75,000-95,000

Location: Newcastle tech hub + flexible hybrid working model

Future Outlook: Previous senior placements have progressed into lead/chief architect roles and managerial positions. The choice to progress will be yours, with a clear pathway available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Modelling: Design and implement scalable, efficient data models that meet business requirements.
  • ETL Expertise: Ensure data models are effectively integrated into ETL processes.
  • Data Governance: Implement and maintain robust data governance practices for data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Cloud Technology: Utilise AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, Databricks, and/or Snowflake to develop and optimise data models and workflows.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure seamless data integration.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, metadata, and standards.
  • Performance Optimisation: Monitor and enhance the performance of data models, addressing any issues proactively.

Requirements:

We're looking for a data modeller with battle scars from working with complex ETL processes, data warehousing, and a strong appreciation for data governance. This role will be a key strategic hire for the team.
