About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Underwriter to join our team at NFU Mutual. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the mid-market space.

As a Development Underwriter, you will work closely with our General Insurance Sales Force and Service Centre to develop and implement underwriting strategies that drive business growth. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our tied Agency Network and Sales teams, and for providing technical expertise and guidance to support the development of new business pipelines.

Key responsibilities will include:

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Underwriter who has a strong track record of success in the mid-market space. You will have a deep understanding of commercial underwriting principles and practices, and be able to apply this knowledge to drive business growth. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with our stakeholders.
