Norse Group is a leading commercial service partnership with a strong focus on delivering excellence in cleaning, catering, and facilities management. We are currently seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee our team at Montgomery Primary School on a part-time basis.

Role Overview

As the Facilities Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the cleaning and maintenance services at Montgomery Primary School. Collaborating closely with the Area Manager and our client partners, you will be responsible for implementing best practices and evaluating service delivery to ensure compliance with quality and health and safety standards.

You will serve as the primary point of contact on-site for the operational team and any subcontractors, overseeing the daily operations of all stakeholders. Ensuring that the team is equipped with the necessary training, tools, and materials will be essential for both routine and unexpected requirements on-site. Regular monitoring of site maintenance and safety through risk assessments and the implementation of quality standards will also be part of your responsibilities.

Required Experience

A solid understanding of health and safety regulations within a cleaning or facilities management context, along with practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Demonstrated experience in a previous facilities or site management position, showcasing the ability to manage diverse teams across multiple sites. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders and convey instructions or information clearly. Capability to define, implement, and monitor best practices that align with quality and safety standards. Proven leadership skills, with a focus on identifying opportunities for individual development and managing team performance.
