LTF Recruitment is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Child Behavioral Support Specialist to assist a Year 1 student diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and exhibiting challenging behaviors.

Our collaborating educational institution is devoted to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all students, and they seek a candidate who aligns with this mission.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to a Year 1 student with ASD, concentrating on behavioral management and emotional stability.
  • Implement customized strategies and interventions to tackle challenging behaviors.
  • Encourage a serene and positive environment to enrich the child's educational experience.
  • Work in partnership with educators, parents, and specialists to develop and sustain an effective support plan.
  • Track and report on the child's development, adjusting methods as necessary.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience working with children with ASD and challenging behaviors.
  • A calming presence, with outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to remain patient, empathetic, and consistent in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of positive behavior support techniques and intervention strategies.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (SEN) or behavior management (preferred but not essential).
