Deputy Head of Credit

Market Talent is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Deputy Head of Credit. This is a key leadership position within our client's esteemed office in the City of London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a robust credit approval process, ensuring strict compliance with Group policies and local regulatory guidelines.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics related to risk mitigation, review quality, and efficient processing of credit proposals.
  • Assess and approve credit proposals within delegated authority, identifying key risk issues and providing reasoned conclusions.
  • Coordinate and participate in Credit Committee meetings, including organizing meetings, minuting decisions, and managing approvals through circulation when necessary.
  • Review and update credit policies and procedures in line with Group requirements, industry trends, and regulatory updates.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in the office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic and forward-thinking bank.
