We are seeking an experienced and skilled Outpatient Business Manager to join our team at NHS Jobs. As a key member of our outpatient services team, you will play a vital role in modernising and streamlining our outpatient processes and structures to create a standardised outpatient service model.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Business Plans: Create and implement business plans to achieve organisational goals, including financial planning, marketing strategies, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Lead Teams: Lead and manage staff, overseeing day-to-day operations, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees, as well as fostering a positive work environment.
- Operational Change Management: Lead the development and implementation of outpatient operational change management plans across the Trust, in partnership with the outpatient administration centre (OAC) and care groups, and in line with national recommendations and guidance.
- Project Management: Lead a number of projects and initiatives across Trust outpatients, ensuring effective project management and delivery.
- Liaison and Communication: Act as a liaison between different departments, management, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the organisation.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of outpatient services and operations.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong business planning and project management skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
