**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Applications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and developing existing relationships with clients. Your primary focus will be on generator and UPS projects worth £100,000 and above.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Collaborate with account managers and clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Review client specifications and estimate project costs, identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Liaise with suppliers for project-specific information and pricing.
  • Produce cost-effective and compliant quotations.
  • Support account managers with site visits and meetings.
  • Attend project handovers and regular sales and estimating meetings.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in estimating, project management, or commercial environments in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Strong attention to detail and a balanced technical and commercial outlook.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of generator installations and related equipment.
  • Familiarity with building services plant and BMS protocols.
