About the Role

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a commercial building near Barbican. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our building's mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical systems, including fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
  • Carry out PPMs (Predictive Maintenance) on pumps, motors, and other equipment
  • Conduct annual inspections and maintenance on water treatment systems, including dipslides, pH and temperature testing, chlorination, and chemical dosing
  • Assist with the maintenance of air handling units, including filter changes, belt changes, and actuator changes
  • Work on a variety of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, water treatment, and steam plant
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Requirements
  • City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering
  • NVQ in Plumbing and Heating
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Valid trade certificates
