We are seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Ltd. As a Mobile Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial sites located around the M25.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial sites, including PPMs and repairs
- Work on a variety of equipment, including motors, generators, air handling units, fan coil units, variable air volume systems, sprinkler systems, pumps, belts, bearings, seals, water treatment systems, and building management systems
- Ensure safe working practices and quality standards are maintained at all times
- Organize and manage subcontractors as required
- Complete logbooks and risk assessments (RAMS) accurately and on time
- Report on maintenance activities and raise and close jobs on our project management system as necessary
Requirements:
- Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds/NVQ equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience in commercial maintenance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-facing attitude
- Apprentice-trained (desirable)
- Full UK driving license
