We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Wilson Vale, a leading contract caterer. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Chef Manager in delivering high-quality food services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including international cuisine, to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager to plan and execute menus, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and tidy, and that all health and safety procedures are followed.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, responding to the needs of our clients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and concepts, working closely with the Chef Manager and other members of the kitchen team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality food services.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of international cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety, and to following all relevant health and safety procedures.
