We are seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to join our waste operations team at Beckton STW. This is a high-profile Operations role, responsible for leading a team of front-line field engineers to ensure the operational management of our wastewater services to our customers, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, coach, and develop people to fulfill business needs.
- Develop and implement continuous improvements to optimize operational performance and customer service.
- Fully own and resolve customer complaints relating to the relevant geographical area. Build relationships with key account customers.
- Lead and develop team members by setting measurable goals and promoting a culture of engagement and motivation.
- Control team unit costs to outperform budget while ensuring all operational activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage a frontline workforce. The role involves ensuring your team works safely and delivers excellent customer service. You will develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including planning teams, key contractors, and other external stakeholders.
This position is a mixture of office/field-based, with an average 60/40 split. As the Field Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of field engineers to ensure the operational management of our wastewater services. You will be expected to develop and implement continuous improvements to optimize operational performance and customer service.
