We are a leading high-end furniture retailer with a strong presence in London and the South East, operating from our own customer service and distribution centre.

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Distribution Manager to join our passionate and professional team, responsible for delivering operational excellence and consistent customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Building and adapting processes to improve the delivery journey, driving excellence in the booking and delivery experience for customers and technicians.
  • Tracking and reporting performance, identifying cost-effective improvements in routing, planning, and achieving relevant KPIs.
  • Managing distribution and logistics operations, ensuring seamless delivery of BoConcept furniture to customers.
  • Developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency, working collaboratively with colleagues across departments and global partners.
  • The ongoing coaching and development of the Distribution team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrating exemplary brand and product advocacy, upholding the values and standards of BoConcept.

    We are looking for:

    • Previous experience in a logistics management role, or operational management and leadership.
    • Commercial acumen, with a strong understanding of analytics and the ability to drive business KPIs, staff planning, and strategic thinking.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading team discussions on performance improvement and performance management.
    • Passion for supporting and communicating with customers, achieving positive resolutions and exceeding expectations.
    • Strong relationship management skills, with experience working with multiple managers and departments, navigating complex information to find solutions.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve, influence, and make considered decisions.
    • Attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing change.
    • Experience with distribution management systems and databases, with proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes.
    • A strong sense of initiative, with a positive proactive nature, and a commitment to upholding the values and standards of BoConcept.
