Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in delivering high-quality food and beverage offerings at one of our eleven sites, which cater to 6,000 members and over 130,000 unique visitors each year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient service.
  • Assist in inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
  • Participate in staff training and development programs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent in a similar environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and flavor.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide the kitchen team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
