About the Role

The Mortgage Product Pricing team at OSB Group is a dynamic and proactive team responsible for setting the pricing for our mortgage range across all of our brands for both new and existing customers. They monitor market trends, economic movements, and business performance to design products and pricing that meet our goals and deliver the best customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain knowledge records of key competitors, pricing, and high-level lending criteria to ensure market analysis is readily available.
  • Analyse market and internal performance data to identify areas of the business that may be impacted by changes, reporting key competitor movements to the wider products team.
  • Take a proactive approach by making recommendations and proposals based on the latest market trends.
  • Collaborate with the Mortgage BI team to ensure the information used across the business is accurate and identifies key areas of performance.
  • Work with Product Managers to support pricing for each line to achieve business targets for balance growth, returns, and within risk appetite.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of product data analysis and market competitor analysis, producing reports that highlight potential risks and opportunities.
  • Detailed knowledge of current and new analysis methods.
  • Intermediate IT skills in use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Advanced organisational/prioritisation and attention to detail skills.
