Job Title: Junior People Business Partner

Our client, a renowned retailer based in the UK, is seeking a Junior People Business Partner to join their team. As a key member of the People function, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders, driving business outcomes, and supporting the growth and development of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues, managers, and external partners
  • Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to discuss their people-related needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with other teams within the People function to drive business outcomes and improve processes
  • Support the development of talent within the organization, including succession planning and employee engagement initiatives
  • Manage employee relations cases, including complex issues, and provide guidance to managers and employees
  • Support new store openings and closure processes, and ensure a smooth transition for employees
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar generalist HR/People role, preferably in a retail or customer-centric environment
  • Proven experience of managing employee relations cases, including complex issues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confidence in working with data and analytics to inform business decisions
