Senior Capture Manager Job Description

QinetiQ is seeking a highly skilled Senior Capture Manager to join our team of experienced professionals in the UK Intelligence Domain. As a Senior Capture Manager, you will play a pivotal role in helping secure new business to support QinetiQ's growth agenda.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute capture win strategies to deliver new in-year business or medium-term growth.
  • Lead important capture opportunities, ensuring effective engagement with customers to build confidence and drive a winning strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a clear win strategy and achieve approval from the Business Development Leadership Team.
  • Build and maintain relationships at senior management level, driving long-term outcomes and pWin.
  • Deliver timely and successful capture outcomes through strong leadership and team management.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of leading, developing, negotiating, and closing strategically important contracts (minimum £10M in value).
  • Experience in executing win strategies and capture plans in complex, competitive environments.
  • Proven leadership ability to lead teams of senior professionals across business and functional boundaries.
  • Relevant experience of winning business with customers and industrial partners in a similar environment.

  • Broad thinking and creativity in developing offers from core capabilities and ensuring opportunities align with QinetiQ's strategy.
  • Relationship building and maintenance with a wide network of relevant people in the industry, customer, and QinetiQ.
