Cloud Solutions Architect

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to enhance our Digital Tools team at the MRC Epidemiology Unit. This role focuses on designing cloud infrastructure and facilitating the transition of on-premises software and tools to cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement cloud solutions that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
- Lead the migration strategy for transitioning on-premises applications to cloud platforms.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with major cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Strong background in cloud migration and infrastructure setup.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
About the MRC Epidemiology Unit: The Unit is part of the University of Cambridge's School of Clinical Medicine, dedicated to understanding the factors contributing to obesity, diabetes, and related health issues.
