Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to enhance our Digital Tools team at the MRC Epidemiology Unit. This role focuses on designing and implementing cloud infrastructure while facilitating the migration of existing software and tools from on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on leading platforms, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Develop and execute cloud migration strategies for transitioning on-premises applications to cloud environments.
  • Ensure that cloud services are scalable, reliable, and maintainable to meet evolving research needs.
  • Implement DevOps practices, including the establishment of CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners to achieve project goals.

About the Team: The Digital Tools team is dedicated to advancing software development, data engineering, and web development initiatives that support clinical studies and epidemiological research.
