Job Summary:

Gap Personnel is seeking a skilled Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to join our team at a luxury beauty company based in Avonmouth. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unloading and Processing Deliveries: Safely and efficiently unload deliveries, checking for discrepancies and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Inventory Management: Verify batches and expiry dates, and process goods accordingly to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Storage and Retrieval: Store stock and non-stock items in a manner that facilitates ease of identification and traceability, while implementing batch controls (FEFO).
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS): Ensure the Bulk storage WMS is up to date with all stock movements, and complete periodic checks to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Picking and Packing: Consolidate stock to save pallet spaces, and pick and check large customer orders for accuracy.
  • Dispatch and Delivery: Ensure goods are only dispatched with the relevant paperwork, and load carrier vehicles to obtain signatures from the carrier.

Requirements:

  • Previous Warehouse Experience: Essential experience in a warehouse environment, with proficiency in hand-held scanners.
  • Computer Literacy: Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and computer literacy.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to demonstrate knowledge of inventory control principles and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry, with experience in manual handling.
