Logistics Warehouse Operative - (Versatile Worker with Reach and Counterbalance Skills)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with shifts from 06:00 to 14:00 & 14:00 to 22:00.

Compensation: £14.11 per hour, plus weekly incentives.

Essential Qualifications:

Candidates must possess valid licenses for both Counterbalance and Reach Truck operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Reach Truck and Counterbalance equipment post-training to facilitate the loading and unloading of client orders, as well as general warehouse movements. Accurately check and document materials transported to and from the facility. Engage in order picking activities. Organize received stock and prepare customer orders for dispatch, ensuring verification of quantity and type of materials. Weigh or count items for distribution within the facility to meet company standards. Report any damages or discrepancies to inventory management. Work in a cold storage environment, approximately minus 20 degrees, similar to a freezer; full personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided for your safety and comfort. Perform additional warehouse tasks as required, including weekend shifts. Overtime will be compensated at time and a half after 37.5 hours.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Proven experience in loading and unloading using Reach Truck and Counterbalance equipment is essential. A proactive individual who enjoys being active and managing a variety of tasks. Ability to lift items weighing up to 18kg. Effective communication skills in English to collaborate with team members.
