Logistics Warehouse Operative - (Versatile Worker with Reach and Counterbalance Skills)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00.

Competitive pay at £14.11 per hour, plus weekly incentives.

Essential Qualifications:

Candidates must possess valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Reach Truck and Counterbalance equipment post-training to facilitate the loading and unloading of customer orders, as well as general warehouse movement.
  • Monitor and document materials transported to and from the facility.
  • Execute order picking tasks efficiently.
  • Organize received stock and prepare customer orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type of materials.
  • Weigh or count items for distribution within the facility to meet company standards.
  • Report any damages or discrepancies to inventory management.
  • Work in a cold storage environment, approximately minus 20 degrees, with provided PPE to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as required, including weekend shifts. Overtime is compensated at time and a half after 37.5 hours.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in loading and unloading using Reach Truck and Counterbalance equipment is essential.
  • Enjoys being active and engaging in a variety of tasks throughout the day.
  • Capable of lifting weights up to 18kg.
  • Strong communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members.
