About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our newly established Community Mental Health team in Coventry. This dynamic team is committed to providing recovery-focused interventions through a multidisciplinary approach.

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality mental health care within this innovative setting. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives, while also mentoring and supervising team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership and support to a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of person-centered care plans that meet the individual needs of service users.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions and treatment strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, risk evaluations, and formulate care plans for individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A relevant professional qualification, such as RMN or DipCOT.
  • Current unrestricted registration with the HCPC/NMC.
  • Substantial experience working in a community mental health setting.
  • Proven expertise in assessment, formulation, risk management, and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
