We are seeking experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our team at Search, a leading provider of community care services. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs in the Coventry area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support to individuals with mental health needs, promoting independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals and support workers, to deliver effective care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and carers.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that service users' needs are met.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months' experience working in a mental health setting, with recent experience in community care.
- Ability to work flexibly, including long days and waking night shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
- Passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
- Ability to travel to various locations in the Coventry area, using own or public transport.
