Overview:
i3 Resourcing Limited is seeking a highly skilled Transformation Release Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the release management lifecycle, including scheduling, coordinating, and managing releases for multiple applications across various initiatives and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Coordinate Releases: Develop and implement release plans, ensuring timely and successful deployment of applications, updates, and patches.
- Manage Release Risks and Issues: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact release scope, schedule, and quality.
- Coordinate Release Content and Effort: Work with project teams to coordinate release content and effort, ensuring alignment with business objectives and release philosophy.
- Monitor Progress and Report: Track progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensure Environment Readiness: Ensure environments are ready for releases, including planning and implementation of a release calendar, code freeze, and release windows.
- Deployments, Runbooks, and Implementation Plans: Coordinate deployments, runbooks, and implementation plans to ensure smooth release execution.
- Weekly Release Reporting: Provide regular reporting on release progress, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in release management, project management, and organization skills.
- Insurance Tech Transformation/Modernisation Experience: Must have experience in insurance tech transformation and modernisation.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
