Job Summary:

i3 Resourcing Limited is seeking a highly skilled Transformation Release Manager to oversee the release management lifecycle, including scheduling, coordinating, and managing releases for multiple applications across various initiatives and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Coordinate Releases: Develop and implement release windows and cycles across the Programme, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
  • Cutover Planning and Management: Establish and manage cutover plans to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that impact release scope, schedule, quality, and overall Programme success.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and report on release progress to ensure timely delivery of application releases.
  • Release Content and Effort Coordination: Collaborate with project teams to coordinate release content and effort, aiming for a release-on-demand philosophy.
  • Deployments, Runbooks, and Implementation Plans: Coordinate and manage deployments, runbooks, and implementation plans to ensure successful release execution.
  • Environment Readiness Management: Ensure enterprise-wide release discipline through planning and implementation of a release calendar, including code freeze and release windows.
  • Weekly Release Reporting: Provide regular release reporting to stakeholders, highlighting progress, successes, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in release management, preferably in an insurance tech transformation/modernisation environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple releases simultaneously.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a focus on ensuring release discipline and adherence to Programme timelines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project teams, Programme managers, and senior leadership.
