Job Title: Regional Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Facilities Manager to join our team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. As a Regional Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance and operations of our stores across Greater London and the South East.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the planned and reactive maintenance of 80 stores across Greater London and the South East.
  • Directly manage a Facilities Assistant and oversee the work of subcontractors.
  • Use ServiceChannel CAFM system to manage maintenance and repairs.
  • Present monthly reports to directors on store spend, maintenance budgets, and any issues or escalations.
  • Manage a budget of approximately £7m per year.
  • Liaise with Operations on reactive maintenance requests and provide expert advice on facilities management.
  • Review and authorize work orders and proposals.
  • Supervise the repair and maintenance of all stores within the region.
  • Ensure consistency in the delivery of planned maintenance.
  • Create and distribute Requests for Proposals to minimize costs of large-scale work.
  • Manage the agreed budget for repair and maintenance of stores within the region and report results regionally and nationally.
  • Implement the National Maintenance Strategy.
  • Analyze and report on data from CAFM system, taking action as necessary.
  • Provide training to Operations on facilities management.
  • Record and manage technical systems in the CAFM system.
  • Authorize payment of invoices up to the determined limit.
  • Act as Direct Leader to Facilities Assistant in line with the principles of the Management System.
Requirements:
  • FM experience in supermarket retail or food retail.
  • Proven experience with CAFM systems.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Experience in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proven experience of dealing with escalations/complaints and providing solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint.
