Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our Supply Chain Team at Avendra International. This is a 7-month Fixed Term Contract role based in our Farnborough office.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to the Supply Chain team and key stakeholders, focusing on purchasing data analysis, administration, client service, and supplier management support.


Key Areas of Focus

The role will involve the following key areas:


Data Management
  • Ensure daily tasks related to system updates and pricing updates are completed.
  • Update both Pelican PI system and Aramark Aratrade system with regards to pricing.
  • Assist and lead in data preparation for category reviews and tenders.
  • Request, review, analyze, and report on Supplier Data.
  • Assist in analysis of rebate tracker data and the chasing of trackers with suppliers.
  • Support Sourcing Team with tender support requests for both Aramark and GPO businesses.


Contracts
  • Coordinate new supplier set-ups and approvals through our onboarding processes and systems in conjunction with the Supply Chain Team.
  • Support the Strategic Sourcing Teams on contract build and execution, including loading onto our Contract Software System.
  • Support business sourcing requirements and ensure rebate detail from contracts is accurately captured on the trackers.


General Administration
  • Support the Strategic Sourcing Teams to ensure that the product and price files are continuously and accurately updated.
  • Support the Team on key project deliveries.
  • Assist the Directors and Managers in ensuring business compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with logistics and disseminate information across the buying team.


Supplier Performance Management
  • Compliance report analysis for key suppliers.
  • Provide input to Monthly Supplier Reviews.
  • Support and attend Monthly Supplier Reviews where required.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:


  • Experience of working in a buying function or procurement team is beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to self-start and work off own initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team focus.
  • Ability to establish, build, and harness long-term relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work and deliver to deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and differentiate between urgent and important tasks.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical ability, particularly through Excel.
