Position Overview

PIMCO is on the lookout for a Product Analyst to join the EMEA Product Strategy team. The primary focus of this role involves the analysis of intricate data and translating those insights into client-centric presentations. The Product Analyst will cultivate strong internal relationships and collaborations with Portfolio Managers, Account Associates, Account Managers, as well as Business Development and Compliance teams throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Product Strategists in delivering tailored portfolio solutions for clients.
  • Conduct thorough portfolio research and quantitative analysis utilizing Excel, Bloomberg, and PIMCO systems.
  • Generate attribution and market commentary along with other product analysis reports on a regular basis.
  • Engage in data collection, analysis, and interpretation tasks to enhance the efficacy of the EMEA Product Strategy team in providing strategic advice and implementation.
  • Collaborate with business development on RFPs for new opportunities and due diligence inquiries.
  • Work alongside the product strategy team to oversee and manage the project queue, prioritizing opportunities and maintaining engagement with clients through Account Managers.
  • Act as an internal resource for client servicing and marketing teams regarding portfolio, market, strategy, and asset allocation inquiries.
  • Maintain marketing collateral such as presentation materials and general educational resources.
  • Conduct ad-hoc research projects concerning competitors and market trends, and assist in the development of new products and funds.
Qualifications
  • 1-5 years of experience in asset management, wealth management, or related financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting is preferred.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally across various seniority levels both internally and externally.
  • Proficient in organizing and communicating information clearly and effectively.
