Job Title: Head of Compliance and MLRO

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Compliance and MLRO to join our team at Wintermann Search. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company operates in a compliant manner and adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure that all managers and staff within the organization understand and adhere to our compliance policies and procedures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a strong understanding of relevant UK regulatory requirements and ensure that our company is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Crime Prevention: Develop and implement effective financial crime prevention strategies to mitigate the risk of money laundering and other financial crimes.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with our business operations.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance-related activities and reports.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters and ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities and obligations.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as law, finance, or business.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance and risk management, with a strong background in financial services.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of relevant UK regulatory requirements, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
