Head of Compliance & MLRO (SMF16 & 17) Investment Management

Location:

Remote (with occasional visits to our Birmingham office)

We're a small but fast-growing Discretionary Investment Manager with around £4bn AUM, and we're looking for a skilled Compliance professional to join our team.

As Head of Compliance, you'll provide day-to-day advice to our Board and oversee the development of our Compliance Monitoring plan. You'll also be responsible for horizon scanning, ensuring we stay ahead of regulatory changes and adapt our business accordingly.

In your capacity as MLRO, you'll review our EDD, CDD, KYC, and KYB processes, as well as our overall AML/CTF framework, and provide ongoing assessments of Financial Crime risks facing our business.

We're looking for someone with experience in a similar role within the Investment Management arena, who can bring their expertise and passion for Compliance to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day Compliance advice to the Board
  • Oversee the development of the Compliance Monitoring plan
  • Horizon scan for regulatory changes and adapt the business accordingly
  • Review EDD, CDD, KYC, and KYB processes
  • Assess Financial Crime risks facing the business
