ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR (MACHINING)

We are seeking a seasoned engineering professional to fill the role of Engineering Instructor (Machining) at Oakmoor Recruitment, a reputable training provider.

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Engineer with Machining experience (turning, drilling & Milling) and a Level 3 or above in engineering to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of qualifications.

  • Teach, coach and mentor young learners undertaking L2 qualifications
  • Deliver training in a high-tech training facility (workshop delivery)
  • Train learners in the centre towards agreed qualifications in line with relevant awarding body standards
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience within machining (fitting / milling / turning / drilling, CNC)
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of working with young people
Key Competencies
  • Level 3 (or above) occupational qualification
  • Assessor Qualification (desirable)
  • Teaching qualification (desirable)
  • A desire to pass on your knowledge & skills within engineering / machining
