Position Overview
EKFB is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Site Agent to join our dedicated team focused on the construction of advanced civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing the construction strategy, which includes organizing kick-off meetings and preparing essential pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, and Construction Programmes.
- Collaborate effectively with the Agent, Sub Agent, and Section Foreman to allocate resources including labor, equipment, materials, and temporary structures to meet project standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Oversee the site engineering team, ensuring their performance and professional growth align with project goals.
- Coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications while prioritizing safety, health, environmental, and quality standards (SHEQ).
- Manage the creation of project schedules, progress reports, resource allocation plans, and contribute to financial forecasting and cost control measures.
Candidate Profile
- Possess an HNC/Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- CSCS Certification Required: Candidates must hold one of the following: Black, White, White/Yellow, Yellow, or Red Experienced.
- Mandatory SMSTS certification.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in Site Engineering activities along with construction supervision skills.
- Experience in portal building and tunnel construction is preferred.
- Previous experience in managing teams is advantageous.
