Fire Safety Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Fire Safety Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects in various sectors, including commercial, industrial, nuclear, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop fire strategies and performance-based designs, supported by fire and evacuation modeling, risk analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Produce fire safety engineering reports and ensure compliance with client expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Review design information, including drawings and documents, to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Resolve fire engineering concerns by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering (Fire, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or similar).
  • Relevant experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Blue Beam, Microsoft, CAD, and smoke modeling software.
  • Ability to travel within the UK and overseas.
