About The Role

TC Facilities Management is seeking a skilled Operations Support Manager to oversee the effective management of our facilities management service at a busy Distribution Centre contract. This field-based role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on delivering cost and efficiency improvements while maintaining stringent health and safety and COSHH legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership and effective management of a large janitorial team across soft services.
  • Develop and implement robust plans to deliver cost and efficiency improvements.
  • Proactive communication with site colleagues to ensure their understanding of customer needs and site issues.
  • Provision of a high-quality, safe, and clean environment.
  • Effective and efficient management of colleague relations.
  • Recruitment and management of new candidates to prioritize effectively.
  • Analysis and interpretation of key data to deliver KPIs.
  • Travel between various sites, requiring a driving license due to remote locations.
  • Delivery of FM strategy, site service charter, and service level agreement.
  • Management of onsite FM projects as agreed with the Project Team.
  • Interface between on-site client and contracted service providers.
  • Monitoring and reporting of service level agreements and KPIs.
  • Financial tracking and reporting to ensure services are delivered within agreed budgets.
  • Continuous improvement review and development of initiatives to improve or rationalize hard services.
  • Departmental audits and statutory compliance plans to achieve and maintain legal status.
  • Development and maintenance of relationships with customers to ensure expectations are met.
  • Management of employee relations issues in accordance with company HR policies.
  • Training and induction of colleagues in their roles and company policies.
  • Ensuring colleagues are trained in and adhere to relevant Health, Safety, and COSHH policies.
