Position Overview

Hourly Rate: £34-£35 (dependent on experience & outside IR35)
Work Environment: Site-based with an average of 45 hours per week
Contract Duration: Minimum 6-month rolling contract with opportunities for overtime
Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

As a Radiation Safety Inspector, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting independent inspections and verifications of ongoing and completed coating processes.
  • Overseeing the testing and preparation of equipment prior to coating applications.
  • Evaluating documentation and generating detailed reports and updates following inspections.
  • Utilizing your expertise as a qualified Coatings Inspector or Welding Inspector.
  • Possessing certifications such as RAD Interp or Penetrant Inspection, or other relevant PCNs.
  • Demonstrating a solid understanding of UK regulations for inspections in high-risk sectors, including Oil & Gas, Nuclear, and Fabrication.
