Your Role

As a Vehicle Safety Inspector, you will ensure that our clients' vehicles are roadworthy and safe. You will pay close attention to every detail and take pride in delivering high-quality service. You will be part of a skilled and motivated team that shares your commitment to excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse array of vehicle makes and models, enhancing your expertise and keeping you informed about the latest advancements in automotive technology.

Key Qualifications

  • Possession of a Level 3 Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance along with relevant experience in the automotive sector.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capability to perform tasks to high standards and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic mindset.
  • Ability to accurately interpret and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • A valid driving license.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Conducting servicing, repairs, and maintenance to the highest standards.
  • Evaluating vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical systems to accurately identify issues, utilizing diagnostic tools.
  • Repairing or replacing faulty components and addressing defects.
  • Performing vehicle inspections as per DVSA regulations (if authorized).
  • Test-driving vehicles to verify repairs.
  • Maintaining tools and ensuring they are in optimal condition.
  • Adhering to checklists to guarantee all procedures are followed.
  • Completing all necessary documentation to the required standards.
