Sheffield, Sheffield, United Kingdom The Ardonagh Group Full time

Role Overview

We are excited to present a unique opportunity to become a part of our Central Services Operations team in a home-based role focused on fostering relationships with Insurers. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that any issues are addressed proactively, while also providing valuable insights and analyses. You will serve as the primary contact for Insurers regarding their accounts, thereby enhancing the customer experience for our clientele.

Key Responsibilities

This is a summary of the main responsibilities, and not an exhaustive list. Working closely with your Line Manager, you will establish your own objectives while concentrating on the following:

  • Engage proactively with Insurers to identify and resolve issues or concerns, emphasizing query management, root cause analysis, process enhancement, and monitoring of insurer aged debt.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to relay insurer concerns and ensure that they have the necessary information to address these issues promptly.
  • Maintain your own query data, documenting the latest actions and driving them to resolution.
  • Understand and manage the aged debt profile effectively.
  • Address ad-hoc requests from insurers, ensuring relevant teams are involved in resolving queries within agreed timelines while managing expectations.
  • Provide regular written updates to leadership regarding account status.
  • Draft clear action plans and track results against these plans for insurers, ensuring that both their and our key concerns are addressed.
  • Escalate issues as necessary.
  • Fulfill responsibilities in accordance with established processes to achieve set objectives, ensuring compliance with client and insurer financial regulations.
  • Investigate the root causes of queries to enhance processes and minimize future occurrences.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking an individual who possesses:

  • Experience in a Finance or Accounts role, preferably within an insurer or broker environment, though relationship management skills are essential.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and planning abilities.
  • The capacity to take initiative, be proactive, resourceful, and maintain excellent attention to detail while adapting positively to change and working under pressure.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.

In return, you will be embraced and supported by our Ardonagh family, joining an organization that values your well-being. Additional benefits include:

  • 26 days of holiday plus bank holidays
  • Opportunities for career advancement across the Ardonagh family
  • Pension scheme for future retirement planning
  • 24-hour support for physical and mental health
  • One paid volunteering day to contribute to community initiatives
  • The Spotlight Awards, recognizing outstanding talent within our group

We offer genuine potential for both personal and professional growth. Join us in shaping our future and becoming part of our story.
