About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proficient Senior Training and Development Coordinator to join our team at Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our training programs and supporting the development of our employees.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to support annual training plans and assess training needs for new and existing employees.
  • Select and implement the most effective training methods and activities to address competency gaps.
  • Identify and recommend internal and external training programs to support employee development.
  • Track and report on training outcomes and maintain accurate employee training records on our training database.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and develop training plans for individual employees.
  • Ensure the training database is up-to-date and accurate, including headcount, movement, and leavers.
  • Review and update subcontractor monthly returns and deliver training database training and support as required.
  • Produce regular reports on competence and ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Escalate problems and complaints to the Head of Training and Onboarding and carry out tasks associated with training as required.

Requirements

  • Highly organized and proficient in MS Office.
  • IT literate and able to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
  • Willing to travel between locations and possess managerial experience.
  • Experience in a construction industry training environment and database management is essential.
  • Experience in training delivery and database management is highly desirable.
