Job Title: Senior Portfolio Management Analyst at Brookfield Asset Management

Overview: As an integral part of the Infrastructure European Portfolio Management team at Brookfield Asset Management, you will work closely with the Director of Finance. The primary objective of the team is to collaborate effectively with European operating entities and internal partners to enhance performance, create value, and serve as a reliable resource for financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely and high-quality financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support informed decision-making.
  • Engage directly in the annual business planning and valuation activities for the European portfolio.
  • Prepare presentations of quarterly results for senior leadership.
  • Review financial reporting submissions and assist in the preparation of opening balance sheets.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of operating entities to articulate performance and strategic challenges effectively.
  • Support the onboarding and integration of new assets into finance and accounting frameworks.
  • Maintain regular communication with finance teams across operating entities and Brookfield Infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline processes within a growing operational framework.
  • Conduct strategic ad-hoc analyses and special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting designation such as ACA or ACCA is required.
  • 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounting.
  • Proficient in financial systems, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and initiative.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in an additional European language is advantageous.
  • Self-driven and proactive in managing workload and pursuing professional growth.
