We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Management Analyst to join our team at HFG. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Portfolio Management Framework Implementation: Assist in implementing the Portfolio Management Framework to ensure our underwriting strategy aligns with our business plan and risk appetite. This will involve facilitating the feedback loop between underwriting and actuarial teams to support medium to long-term business performance.
  2. Data Visualization and Analytics: Design, create, and maintain a holistic suite of portfolio management and data visualization tools and dashboards, including WTW Radar and Power BI.
  3. Portfolio Monitoring and Analysis: Actively monitor portfolios and perform ad-hoc and deep dive analyses to understand drivers of underwriting performance, identify areas of risk and opportunity. Socialize insights, suggest, and create buy-in for actions to enable the business to constantly course correct.
  4. Strategic Decision Support: Provide essential input to inform, support, and challenge strategic, planning, and underwriting decisions. Support the optimization of portfolio returns and risk management through financial modeling, tiering, creation of realistic disaster scenarios, inputting in peer review, performance review forums, and risk referrals.
  5. Exposure Management: Support the exposure management process to ensure catastrophe risk is monitored, socialized, and managed in line with agreed risk appetite and reflected in decision making.
