Job Overview

The Neonatal Unit at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a leading provider of Level 3 neonatal care in the Northeast of England and North Yorkshire. As a Neonatal Trust Doctor, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care to critically ill newborns. Our unit is approved for higher specialist training in neonatology and offers excellent opportunities for research and professional development.

Main Duties

As a Neonatal Trust Doctor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality clinical care to newborns with complex medical conditions
  • Participating in ward rounds, emergency on-call commitments, and retrieval of sick newborns
  • Attending regional study days, individual study leave, and research meetings
  • Collaborating with allied specialist clinics locally

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • MRCPCH or equivalent
  • Neonates experience and completion of core competencies or equivalent
