Position Overview:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the creation, execution, and management of exceptional educational programs, which encompass school workshops, short courses, teacher training initiatives, and community events.

Core Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting engaging workshops and activities tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels.
  • Designing and assessing educational activities that align with the strategic goals of the curriculum area.
  • Identifying and nurturing partnerships with industry stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the preparation and upkeep of educational resources and facilities to a high standard before and after activities, including monitoring and requesting supplies as necessary.
  • Performing and reviewing risk assessments for educational programs, adhering to protocols for first aid and incident documentation.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Ability to represent the organization with professionalism at all times.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to work proactively and adaptively to meet established goals.
  • Strong teamwork skills, fostering positive relationships with educational staff.
  • Experience or a strong interest in engaging with young individuals aged 14 and above in education related to Farming and Rural Skills.

Additional Information:

  • This role will require occasional travel.
  • The position is full-time, comprising 37.5 hours per week.
  • Legal authorization to work in the UK is mandatory.
  • Flexibility to work some weekends or evenings for educational or estate events is expected, with a system for time off in lieu.
