Position Overview:

We are seeking a permanent Community Learning Disability Staff Nurse to join our team at Rothesay House, Cumnock. As a key member of our community team, you will play a vital role in promoting and maintaining the health of clients, carers, and families on an individual or group basis within community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide clinical advice within the speciality of learning disability to individuals, other health professionals, community organisations, and families.
  2. Deliver specialist health interventions for people with Learning Disability with complex needs and provide support/education to the individuals and their families/carers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a RNLD qualification with appropriate knowledge of learning disability nursing, the health needs of people with a learning disability, and a good understanding of community working. You should also have good interpersonal skills with evidence of continuous professional development. Experience of working in a community team or similar setting is desirable.

Working Hours:

37 hours per week

Driving Licence:

A UK Car licence is essential for this role.
