Job Summary

East Ayrshire Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Professional to join our team at Robert Burns Academy. As an English Education Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering an innovative and creative curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a curriculum that promotes the key objectives of the Education Plan and the Community Plan.

• Challenge, support, and inspire all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to integrate the curriculum and promote a culture of excellence.

Requirements

• Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act.

• PVG Scheme membership or Scheme Record Update prior to employment.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent full-time post based at Robert Burns Academy, Barony Campus, Cumnock. The hours of work will be 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at the direction of the Line Manager.

The full-time salary of this post is between £38,000 and £48,000 per annum.
