Job Summary

Babcock International Group is a leading global provider of complex engineering services and shipbuilding solutions. As a Principal Naval Architect, you will play a key role in our shipbuilding projects, working on designs from concept to vessel acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design teams in the development of innovative solutions for complex shipbuilding projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets technical and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
  • Support the growth and development of the engineering and ship design teams

Requirements

  • Experience in the naval/marine industry with a strong understanding of naval architecture principles
  • Proficiency in naval architecture software and tools
  • Chartered engineer status or working towards it
  • Ability to achieve SC security clearance
