You will be part of the RICS Valuation (Audit) Team, which comprises a diverse and multinational group of specialists. Your role will involve direct collaboration with the Valuation Team, reporting to the Head of Compliance & Regulation and the Head of Valuation, while also engaging with the Tech Team, Product Team, and Co-Founders.

As a Venture-Capital-backed organization, we leverage DeepTech AI to develop innovative SaaS-based algorithms capable of learning, memorizing, and accurately predicting the valuation and risk levels of various assets through algorithmic modeling of biological neural systems, mimicking human decision-making processes using extensive public and private data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee AI-generated valuation outputs in relation to market conditions and other data sources.
  • Collaborate with the FINVISE Tech Team to enhance the precision of algorithms.
  • Report on trends in the real estate market, regulatory changes, and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance of valuations with RICS industry standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Work closely with FINVISE clients to ensure seamless delivery of various outputs.
  • Contribute to the creation of valuation report templates.
  • Engage with RICS and other regulatory bodies regarding compliance and regulations.

Core Requirements:

  • RICS-qualified valuation surveyor with VRS accreditation (MRICS/FRICS & Registered Valuer) and a minimum of two years of PQE.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly RICS Red Book guidelines.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with contemporary valuation tools and methodologies.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in preparing and reviewing both on-site and desktop property valuation reports.
  • Familiarity with the UK Residential market, particularly in major cities such as London, Manchester, and Birmingham.
  • Understanding of the UK mortgage lending market is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in commercial property valuations.
  • Previous experience in a start-up environment or interest in FinTech/PropTech ventures.
