Chartered Building Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Building Surveyor to join our team at Ernest and Florent, a leading Building Consultancy in central London.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of building defects, dilapidation's, condition reports, contracts administration, and measured surveys. Project management experience would be an advantage.

As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing professional services such as defect diagnosis, dilapidation's, and pre-acquisition surveys. You will also act as a contract administrator on projects with budgets up to £20m.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £75,000, car/travel allowance, 25 days annual leave, and additional company benefits. You will also have the opportunity to join an employee-focused Building Consultancy and enjoy genuine scope for career growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice on building defects and dilapidation's
  • Conducting condition reports and measured surveys
  • Acting as a contract administrator on projects
  • Providing professional services such as defect diagnosis and pre-acquisition surveys

Requirements:

  • MRICS membership
  • MSc/BSc in Building Surveying
  • 5+ years PQE
  • Strong understanding of building defects and dilapidation's
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
